Our internships are explicitly designed to funnel into full time, junior positions upon satisfactory completion.
Internships are remote OR in house in Leamington Spa, UK. Those not legally eligible to work in England can participate as an independent contractor. Unfortunately we cannot organise / sponsor visa’s / work permits. Applicants MUST be in a timezone reasonably close to the UK.
Applications close June 16th 2024. The successful candidate will be informed by the end of July. Flexible start date. 3 month duration.
Paid, Location and Date?
All our internships are paid at least a living wage, as we believe hard work should be rewarded, and you can’t pay bills with hopes and dreams. It’s remote or located at our HQ in Leamington Spa in the heart of the UK. Leamington is a hub of game developers so you’ll likely get to meet devs from big studios like Microsofts Playground, Electric Square, Rebellion, Sumo, Ubisoft and Sega. Housing or relocation assistance is not provided. We are an animation studio so only offer internships in 3D animation, at this stage it will specifically be tailored to animation for video games. The start date is from Aug/Sept, but we can be flexible. This will be offered on a three month basis, we hope to extend this period in the future.
Who is eligible for an internship? Are international students eligible?
Anybody is eligible as long as you have a passion for animation and can demonstrate your skills and willingness to pursue a career in animation. A degree in a closely related field or having completed an online animation course is an added bonus. Those not legally eligible to work in England can participate as an independent contractor.
